Visiting Pet Teams of South Mississippi is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization that is established to enhance lives, reduce loneliness, and create motivation by utilizing registered therapy dogs and their handlers to participate in Animal Assisted Activities (AAA) and Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT). All of our active members are registered exclusively through Pet Partners

In 2019, our volunteers and their therapy dogs served over 1,500 hours spreading love and compassion to people who needed it the most!
How to get involved…
We offer New Member Orientation meetings every month (except July and December) on the second Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Please join us to learn the steps to become a registered therapy dog team.
